Thickens your hair and stimulates hair growth
Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy is one of the newest methods in the treatment of alopecia. Platelet-rich plasma, which is obtained from one’s own blood, is injected into the areas affected by hair loss in order to stimulate the scalp and promote hair growth.
How does this hair treatment work?
1 A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient (50ml).
2 The plasma is obtained by centrifuging the blood.
3 It is activated by the DNA activator thrombin and is enriched with calcium ions (e.g. calcium chloride).
4 The activated plasma is immediately injected into the areas affected by hair loss in order to stimulate hair growth.
This can be used in an individual treatment to revitalize and strengthen hair follicles and encourage new hair growth.
But it is also possible to carry out the treatment in connection with a hair transplant.
It supports both the partially severed hair follicles in the donation area and the hair implanted in the receiving area to continue to grow healthily.
The treatment also reduces the formation of scars, injuries, inflammation and redness and supports the healing process of the dermis and epidermis of the donation area.
